The annual fee for hanging your license with Broker Connect is only $100. Other fees you would incur are simply for keeping your license compliant with the State of Colorado which consists of a 3 year renewal fee of roughly $165/year, a basic E&O insurance policy which is roughly $255/year and continuing education requirements which vary but typically less than $100/year. You do not have to belong to the local real estate board or pay monthly office fees, this will save you thousands of dollars a year in expenses!

Transition Brokers are those who have put in the time and effort to obtain a real estate license but have decided to transition to a different career either permanently or temporarily and are putting their career on hold at this time. Typically Transition Brokers have not been in the business too long and have not built a database of any substantial value yet. However, they do have some clients and a sphere of influence that they wish to refer and match high quality brokers to and earn a traditional referral fee on.

Retirement Brokers are those who have had a long career in real estate and built a valuable database of clients. Real estate databases are very difficult to put a value on and even more difficult to sell. Broker Connect has built a system to help Retirement Brokers get long term residual value from their hard earned career instead of just walking away.

There are 2 types of referral fees; ‘In Area’ referrals which are any referrals that can be directly handled by our partner real estate company which primarily includes Colorado Springs and all surrounding communities in El Paso and Teller Counties. These referrals are placed at a higher 35% fee of which you will keep 70% of the 35% which equals 24.5% net referral commission. ’Out of Area’ referrals which are all additional referrals that cannot be serviced by our partner real estate company will be professionally placed within our exclusive Leading Real Estate Companies of the World global network. These referrals are placed at a 25% fee of which you will keep 60% of the 25% which equals 15% net referral commission.

Yes, you can stay in touch with your clients, we actually encourage this so you can stay top of mind with them to produce more referrals. We have turn-key marketing pieces already developed to assist you with staying in touch. These mailers do need to state you are not active in the day to day activities of buying and selling real estate but will send a clear message that you are licensed and available to connect them with top brokers anywhere in the world for all of their real estate needs.

You can communicate directly with the broker that your client was referred to or you can communicate directly with Broker Connect’s Referral Manager for updates.

Broker Connect specializes in the Retirement Broker. For those looking to get the most out of the hard earned career Broker Connect is the best place for you. We have developed a comprehensive system to slowly over time co-brand your business with a Preferred Partner Broker so your clients get to know the Broker whom you will be transitioning your database to. Then we have developed retirement specific agreements that allow a Preferred Broker to handle the majority of your referrals and in turn you will receive a specific scaled referral rate that will start as high as a 50% referral fee for the first year. Everything Broker Connect does is paperless and seamless. Upon a successful closing of your referral within 72 hours of receipt of the referral proceeds your fee will automatically be deposited into your bank account.

Yes you can ‘Name Request’ any broker to send your referral to as long as they are in our preferred network.

No, you cannot actively participate in any real estate transaction. Broker Connect is meant to be a simple referral only business. For any personal real estate transactions you can request a higher referral fee and as long as one of our Preferred Brokers is agreeable to accept it you can earn higher fees.

There is no limit to how much you can make. You can send as many referrals as you’d like anywhere in the world! As an incentive for Brokers successfully closing 3 referrals in a calendar year, your following year’s Annual Fee will be waived.
